About the product

What should you pay attention to when using an oxygen concentrator?

  • Please do not use the oxygen concentrator near open flames or while smoking.
  • Monitor the oxygen concentration and check the device regularly to ensure there are no alarms and sufficient oxygen is flowing. Oxygen concentration that is too low can affect breathing and the life of the device.
  • If you use an oxygen concentrator for chronic health problems, please check your blood oxygen levels regularly.

What is the difference between continuous flow and pulsating flow?

  • Pulsating flow: Automatically senses your breathing and delivers oxygen only when you inhale, stopping when you exhale.
  • Continuous flow: Regardless of whether you inhale or exhale, it continuously delivers oxygen.
  • Pulsating flow is primarily used in portable devices to extend battery life.

Is the oxygen concentrator noisy?

  • Typically, the noise level is between 30 and 60 decibels (dBA), which is equivalent to a quiet conversation.
  • The VARON VP-01 model has a noise level below 58 dB, while the VARON VL-02 model has a noise level below 45 dB.

When does the alarm sound?

  • F0001: Low battery warning.
  • F0002: No breathing detected.
  • F0011: Overtemperature warning.
  • F0012: Oxygen sensor fault warning.

Do you need a prescription to buy a portable oxygen concentrator?

No, no prescription is needed.

Can I take the portable concentrator on a plane?

Our products are not FAA approved, so we recommend that you only use them for short-haul trips.

How does an oxygen concentrator work?

The device can filter oxygen from the air so you can breathe it in according to your needs. It can operate on alternating current (AC) or direct current (DC) and is equipped with a rechargeable battery.

Is the battery of the portable concentrator rechargeable?

Yes, it can be charged using the AC cable, and can also be charged in the car using the DC cable or an external charger, depending on the model. The average charging time is 4-5 hours.

What is the atomizer function?

It helps the respiratory system to absorb smaller particles more efficiently, with fewer side effects.

Is the VARON oxygen concentrator compatible with a car charger?

Yes, it supports 100-240V (AC) and 12-16.8V (DC) input voltage, so it can be used anywhere in the world and charged in a vehicle.

How long can the device operate?

  • The household model can operate day and night, even while you sleep.
  • The portable device has overheating protection and will stop once every 4 hours.

Do I need to add water?

This depends on the type; some allow you to add water as needed

How do I replace the battery?

The VP-2 model has a replaceable battery to extend operating time.

What is the difference between a portable and a home oxygen concentrator?

  • Laptop: Small size, light weight, battery operation, very suitable for travel.
  • Household: Larger size, higher oxygen flow, recommended for long-term use at home.

How do I maintain my oxygen concentrator?

  • Clean the exterior regularly.
  • Wash your nasal cannula at least once a week.
  • Clean the air filter once a month.
